Dr. Bronner’s Magic

Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap is synonymous with Old World quality and time-honored simplicity. Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Hemp Pure-Castile Soap is the product I was dying to try out for ages and it finally came into our drugstores as well (you’re probably wondering where on Earth I live). I decided to go for the rose scent; however the unscented baby-mild is the one to go if you suffer from allergies or have sensitive skin. For those who are not familiar with Dr.Bronner’s Magic Soaps, these are known as “all-in-one” products and can be used for just about any cleaning task; they are simple, ecologically formulated, gentle enough for washing body, face or hair, but also powerful enough for tasks like dishwashing, mopping, laundry and even pest control. In the »beauty world« they are known as one of the best makeup brush cleansers, and I must admit that my rose castile liquid soap made a huge impact on me as well. Not only that I find it as one of the best body washes, cleaning my makeup brushes is super-duper easy (baby edition would probably be even better) and you really need just the tiniest amount. The packaging is made of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, sturdy and a label bearing quotations from Jesus, Einstein, Rabbi Hillel, Abraham Lincoln, Chairman Mao, to Dr. Emmanuel Bronner himself. I find it quite interesting and fun – it’s never boring while laying in the bath, you always have some reading material right next to you. Since you might have heard about this amazing product before, Dr. Bronner’s Organic Body Balms haven’t gotten so much attention in the media, however they are equally amazing as their soaps. I picked up the Patchouli Lime scent and I got sick-and-tired of it quite soon. Which is really sad, since the formulation is amazing! It is made with pure organic oils and beeswax without any synthetic ingredients. Organic jojoba, avocado and hemp oils soothe dry skin anywhere: hands, feet, elbows, etc. Also (supposedly) excellent for protecting and brightening new and old tattoos! An unscented Baby-Mild version would be my choice if I could pick again. All Dr. Bronner’s products are certified organic under the USDA National Organic Program.
