Ljubljana Marathon with Nike

One day before the 17th Ljubljana Marathon we had special happening in Gospodarsko razstavišče with NIKE. Being a Nike ambassador for Slovenia, I was present in their “corner” where we made some photos and gave video interviews.

I love big sports events, especially those that have a running tradition. You can feel the power, energy and excitement of the crowd on the starting line. You can see the exhausted faces at the finish line, but you can tell they are happy to achieve their goal. The goal to beat themselves… This year I wasn’t one of them, due to the fact I caught a cold a week ago. Next year, I am definitely in!

This year the weather surprised us all. I think this was the first Ljubljana Marathon in snow.
