Maxfactor has been one of the brands I knew since I started with makeup. I’ve always said that their mascaras are one of the best on the market – comparing to other drugstore brands as well as high-end. I got the chance to try out some of their new goodies, scroll down for more!
MAXFACTOR SKIN LUMINIZER FOUNDATION
I was really looking forward to trying out this foundation. It does look quite interesting at the first glance and I also read some positive reviews online. I got it in shade 50 (natural) which is too dark for me at the moment, however I still wanted to wear and be able to write a proper review. Love its medium coverage (not masky at all) with a dewy finish, it gives my skin a healthy glow and feels light at the same time. MAXFACTOR MASTERPIECE TRANSFORM HIGH IMPACT VOLUMISING MASCARA
I am not going to say that this one is my favorite from Maxfactor, however it is pretty good! When I first decided to use it I made a huge mess – I’m not completely sure how or why this happened, I probably applied to much of it (which stuck my eyelashes together). Lately I’ve been loving this one because it gives massive volume without much effort (two coats are complexly enough), has a really intense bold black color, it combs my lashes nicely with an impact plastic wand with small bristles, plus the removal is super easy.
MAXFACTOR COLOUR ELIXIR GLOSS
I haven’t been a fan of lipgloss. I much more prefer lipsticks which aren’t so sticky (I hate when my hair stick on my lips) and they don’t make me want to throw up since I’m prone to licking and eating everything I wear on my lips. Maxfactor Colour Elixir Gloss has surprisingly won my heart, it feels light on my lips, just a little bit sticky, has an amazing shine and looks really glossy. The subtile shade 35 Lovely Candy is one of the most stunning ones out there, suitable for everyday use or special occasions.
MAXFACTOR GEL SHINE LACQUER
Hands down, Maxfactor Gel Shine Lacquers are one of the best nailpolishes ever! One coat is completely enough to achieve an amazing gel-effect finish and full coverage (I still prefer two thin coats). Application is super easy and streaks or brush marks are minimal. It promises 7 days of shine, color and lasting finish, I can ensure you that 4 days with occasional handwashing of dishes is possible. Sadly (for me), they only exsist in intense, bold shades (mine is 30 Twinkling Pink).
