Photos in this workout post are mainly focused on the exercise I incorporate in my fitness routine more frequently. I am not a fitness expert, so I am only sharing with you the ones I like and feel they are beneficial to my body. My current workout consist of doing some workout sessions at home, occasional running and visiting the gym Fitnes Klub 4P in Ljubljana. I must admit, finding the time for some training has been quite hard lately, since I have so much work to do (exam studies, working as beauty editor at Etiketa Magazin, blogging and more). This post is not only about giving you a sneak peek into my fitness routine, but also a reminder for me to finally hit to the gym again. See (read) you soon!

The Double Cleansing method I wrote about before (here). To sum up, I’ve been practicing it for a few years now as my night time cleans and it works great for my complexion. Besides being thorough, it is also important to use the right high quality products for your skin type and condition. In this post I wanted to tell you all about the amazing Ren Skincare duo I’ve been using for the past two months.

I start my cleans with Ren Rosa Centifolia Express Make-Up Remover (18,49€), apply one pump on a cotton pad and press it against the second cotton pad, and sweep them over my closed eyes. This silky milky makeup remover is formulated to leave the skin cleansed, toned and purified. It contains Tannings from the Rose Centifolia (that tone and tighten pore size), Rice Brain Oil that soothes and hydrates and a Vitamin P from Rose Petals (that protects the capillary system). It removes all face and eye makeup, including waterproof mascara (I mainly concentrate on the eye area, since I follow up with another cleanser), it’s gentle and it doesn’t irritate my eyes and it doesn’t leave the skin feeling tight. I would say it’s best for those with drier or dehydrated skin, however it says it’s suitable for all skin types. The scent is lovely and delicate, nothing major.

When I am wearing full-face makeup, I like to go for a double cleans in the evening. In the morning, using one gentle cleans works great for me, but in the evening I like to make sure that my face is free of all the makeup and impurities. The second cleanser I’ve been using recently is the Ren Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel (19,59€) which is similar to the foaming one that I mentioned before (here). It is a detergent and soap free gel cleanser that removes makeup, oils, dirt and pollution without the stripping effects of sulfates. I press one pump on my damp hands and gently massage over my face and neck, rinse off with water (after the first cleans in the evening; individually in the morning). No extreme tightness after this one as well, which is a huge plus for me. It has a lovely rosey scent, stronger one than the Express Make-Up Remover (I am not a huge fan of heavily scented products, because they can be irritating; however in cleansers they don’t bother me, since I rinse them off). The formula contains Polyphenols from Rose Centifolia (that decongest the skin, soothes and protects facial vessels), Polysaccharides from Aloe Vera (that retain moisture and soothe) and Rose Otto Oil from Damask Rose Petals (that calms and soothes). After rinsing this one off, my skin is thoroughly cleansed, I follow with my usual skincare routine. To sum up, these two won my heart (or better: skin), I would definitely recommend them to all those with normal, mixed, dry or dehydrated skin.

Blue is having its major moment this spring, at least in my closet. There’s something about this colour, that makes it absolutely stunning. It can be a statement colour for sure, on the other hand it can acompany almost any other colour, including my personal favourites – white and black. I am pretty sure, at this moment, you are looking at my photos and wondering: “are you talking about clothing or the newest Smart forfour Proxy?”. Truth to be told, both. I had the chance to spend the whole previous weekend test driving the new generation of the ultimate city car and I must admit, this little fella totally won my heart. It looks sporty, trendsetting, dynamic, it’s small (but still suitable for four passengers), parking is super easy (all thanks to it’s smalll turning radius, it gets a big thumbs up from me, since my main destinations are mostly in the Centre of Ljubljana), the panoramic roof brings to the white-blue interior even more light, making it even more spacious (not to be afraid of UV radiation, the glass will 100% protect you from sunburn). There’s probably no need for me to enumerate all the characteristics, you can easily find them at some proper car-reviewing-site or better at your nearest Smart car dealer. As a fashion enthusiast I just wanted to show you how trendy and cool it looks. After all, true fashionistas buy cars with their eyes first.

P.S. Smart’s black alloy wheels, matching my new Relance shoes from Mass store, pretty pretty, right?

2015 is a year of slip-ons, at least for me. These highly trendy and comfortable shoes came back on the fashion scene about a year ago and they instantly won my heart. They are the hottest trend in sneakers right now, for sure. You can find them everywhere, in every colour, print and texture you want, from floral to metallic. One of my picks would definitely be the metallic snake print from Josh (you can find them in Mass stores), since they are still neutral, but the print makes them different. This metallic animal print really adds a little something to this simplest of silhouettes. I love pairing them with clothes in elementary colours like black and white, however there’s no one holding you back going all-in with some colourful clothing if you fancy.

Spring is definitely the time for colours. As the temperature continues to rise across Slovenia, I emerge from my mostly monochrome workout clothes to the more vivid ones. For my first post in collaboration with the New Yorker Athletics collection, I decided to go for an all-blue outfit, so today its time for a pop of pink! The newest collection is full of vibrant and uplifting colours (how amazing is this pink-orange combo?) and it’s much more than just on-trend clothes at first glance. Although my standards when it comes to sports clothing are rather high (being a former track&field athlete), I find these very well-made. The quality of the fabric is great, material is light and functional. The whole pink look could have been too much this time, so I decided to pair the shirt and trainers with ¾ length black running tights with an amazing subtle animal print. A perfect outfit for some spring jogging!
