Isadora is a brand that doesn’t get enough attention in the blogging world in my opinion, I am not sure why, since their products are truly amazing – high quality, luxurious, but still affordable. The brand itself was launched in 1983 by a family owned company in Sweden. All of their products are perfume free, clinically tested (not on animals, hooray!), suitable for those with sensitive skin and eyes. They offer the most amazing bronzers and they totally won my heart with this year’s spring collection.

Let’s first talk about Isadora Twist-up Matt Lips (14,77€). Love! These handy, retractable twist-up pens are my current favourite lip product for sure! They have a velvet matte finish, are creamy and comfortable to wear, don’t dry out my lips, have pretty decent staying power. The application s super easy thanks to the special shaped tip and you don’t need a sharpener to keep it going. There are 6 shades available, I’ve got two of them – a light peachy-orange 52 Posh Peach (featured in this outfit post) and a true natural-beige named 50 Naked (featured in this outfit post). I freaking love them both, however I do have a complaint over the finish of 50 Naked. It is most definitely not matte, I can spot little shimmering parts on direct sunlight (not noticeable on lips). I am not sure what’s the deal with that, but overall both shades are stunning and I would highly recommend you check them out.

The second new launch this spring is the Isadora Wonder Nail (9,52€) in four new pastel shades – 503 Fresh Linen, 500 Posh Peach, 501 Candy Store and 502 Spring Bud. They have an extra wide brush that covers the nail in one stroke (which is my preference), due to their amazing brush shape there are no streaks visible after application and the staying power is amazing (I’d say about 5 days at least, using your hands a lot!). All four shades are ideal for spring, they look amazing on tanned skin, while they should suit pale skin as well.

Last but not least, the Isadora Eye Color Bar (22,28€) is another product I got my hands on. You may call it »just another natural eyeshadow palette«, but it’s so much more! The 60 Nude Essentials consists of 6 warmer brown shades; 3 matte and 3 shimmery (a perfect combo, at least for me). It’s a perfect choice for every girl’s daily makeup, however it’s suitable for night time use as well. The eyeshadows are easy to blend, they have soft and silky texture with a velvety feel (without any fallout, which is a huge plus), the pigmentation is decent. There’s a small mirror included in the compact, which might come in handy if you’re on the go. It’s practically all you need to create a classy eye makeup and it’s a great dupe for UD Naked Basics.

If you are that kind of girl who loves all things glittery and shimmery, this post might just be the one for you. If you love sweet floral scents, keep on reading, this year’s new perfume launch of the Jimmy Choo Blossom Eau de Parfum is a true bold bouquet for bright young party girls. The fragrance is packed in a bottle identically designed as Jimmy Choo’s Flash fragrance from 2013, this time in deep pink colour. Blossom is inspired by the effervescent life of the Jimmy Choo party girl who lives each day to the fullest and doesn’t take herself too seriously. Embodying a sense of sexiness, fun, and happiness, she is sparkling and vivacious. One spray gives her an invisible cloak of confidence. It opens with bright and sparkling top notes of red berries blended with a citrus cocktail. A delicate heart of sweet pea and rose complements rich and sensual base notes of white musk and sandalwood. It’s mainly floral, yet sweet, it’s definitely sexy, feminine, fun and charming at the same time, a perfect scent for every spring or summer day. It’s available as 40ml (39€), 60ml (64€) and 100ml (89€) Eau de Parfum.

A while ago, Domen (IE: my outfit photographer) and I had a talk about how many photos of me he had taken until this point. The number is rather large, I am not going to lie. There are the ones I truly like, the ones he does (we also share some favourites as well), those that were published being considerably OK (but nothing special) and there are the ones that never made the cut. This time I decided to add a little something in the end of this post – sharing with you two photos we’d usually consider as »outtakes«. Just for the record; sometimes I intentionally make funny faces (mostly when I feel awkward while people are staring at us taking pictures), and I said to myself why not share a photo or two »not so fashion bloggery perfect« this time, showing you the »real me«. »Every time you post something online, you have a choice. You can either make it something that adds to the happiness levels in the world – or you can make it something that takes away. So, next time you go to post a comment or an update or share a link, ask yourself: is this going to add to the happiness in the world? And if the answer is no, then please delete. There is enough sadness in the world already. You don’t need to add to it.«
