Bourjois La Laque Nail Enamels are a top drugstore release for Summer 2015, for sure. High pigmentation, a glossy shine, amazing formula and radiant colours in cute triangular shaped bottles won my heart after (literally) the first stroke. The brush is wide but precise and the coverage above average – most of them give full coverage in just one stroke (and last exceptionally long; just as the Essie ones). The first shade in my 4 (out of 12) collection is a white shade named 1 White Spirit, which is a true winner and my favourite out of all. It’s pigmented enough to achieve full coverage after max two coats and there are no brushstrokes visible, which is a rare thing when it comes to white nailpolish. 4 Flambant Rose is a hot tropical pinky-red and the 6 Fushsiao Bella as the name suggests is a fuchsia shade. Out of the two I prefer the latter, I believe it suits my skin tone better. Moving on to the last one in my collection; 12 Ni Varnis Blau is a turquoise shade, in which I cannot tell whether there’s more blue or green in it. It’s a perfect one for the upcoming summer days for sure. At only 7€ (10ml), these are a true drugstore gem and I think they will fly off the shelves this summer, grab your own while you can. Maybelline contacted me, asking if I was interested in featuring their products in a makeup look to help them promote their newest Facebook competition #QueenOfMNY in the Slovenian market. Since Maybelline is one of the drugstore brands I truly love, I was all up for it. Being one of three chosen Slovenian bloggers, I am honored and excited to share with you my final result. The Nude Polished Look was assigned to me, which is a true »me« look with all the bronzy-rose toned shades.

I’ve declared my love for the double cleansing routine time and time again (HERE and HERE). I love the efficiency and I’ve always been on the hunt for new amazing products, and always will be. Lately, I’ve been replacing my “usual first step aka micellar water” with a cleansing oil, while a foaming water represents my second cleans. And yes, as the title suggests, they are both from Vichy.

Vichy Purete Thermale Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil (15€ for 125ml) is the first ever cleansing oil from Vichy, enriched with micelles, vitamin E and camellia oil. Its ability to quickly remove even waterproof makeup (and other impurities) amazes me, plus it leaves a hydrated, soothed and soft feeling on my skin. It’s designed to gently but efficiently remove impurities, such as dead skin cells and excess sebum (and makeup); for me it’s more of a »first cleans«, especially when wearing makeup (however it works great individually as well). Its texture is light and liquid, it feels silky on the skin. To use I simply apply and massage on dry skin to breakdown any makeup and dirt; next I dampen which causes it to emulsify into a milky substance. You can either wash it off with water or a damp muslin cloth; it doesn’t leave any residue on the skin. The only downside is the brief blurred vision I get occasionally, which is rather a common thing with cleansing oils. My skin loves it, it feels luxurious and it’s actually quite affordable considering other similar products.

Vichy Purete Thermale Purifying Foaming Water (15€ for 150ml) these days represents my »second cleans«. It’s actually a liquid to foam water soluble cleanser suitable for all skin types. It works well to remove face makeup and impurities, while the main task it gets done for my skin, is the removal of any residue left on my skin after the first cleans (I also use it as my morning cleanser). It’s ultra light, fresh and lathery, the pump creates a foaming action so you actually use a really small amount. It contains a fragrance which is fresh and lovely, but highly noticeable (be noted if you’re extremely sensitive). It will last you (and me) ages! (note: Vichy renewed the whole Purete Thermale range, this foaming water has new packaging).

Today’s outfit post is definitely all about the recent trends. The first trend I gave a try was the fringe. I found these booties in a Cinti store in the centre of Ljubljana, I fell in love in a second. Not only that they are unbelievably comfortable (probably the most comfortable one pair I own), but they are a huge statement piece in a thankful, easy-to-combine colour. Speaking of trends, a bucket bag has been on my wishlist for a while now and I was extremely happy when Viva’s Project asked me to become their brand ambassador. I was all up for it (to be completely honest, I was jumping to the roof when I received the mail), since their handbags are a true high quality masterpiece. I knew my first piece from their collection would have to be a black bucket bag, since it’s simple and timeless. You don’t just get a handmade bag made from genuine quality Italian leather, you also get a Mini bag (which you can use as a part of the bucket bag or wear it individually). A must have, worth investing, and will never go out of style, for sure!
