A few days ago the Brazilian brand Petite Jolie contacted me, if I wanted to come along their nearest selling point and take a look at their new Autumn 2015 collection. They came out with some uniquely designed shoes, there’s a lot of rubber (which is a must for rainy days), some colorful choices, however this season beige, black and gold shades are obviously the ones to go for. My absolute favourite pair are gold ballet pumps with let’s go girl! written on them. They are a bit different from my usual style, but they are extremely comfortable and cheeky. Why not add some fun to your outfit with a pair of shoes, right?

Essence is well known for its affordable prices and rather outstanding quality (especially with some products that really hit the mark. The brand recently came out with a limited edition collection named Urbaniced, inspired by an urban, street style. At first, the products didn’t seem much, however I was positively surprised shortly after the first swatch. It is targeted at younger buyers, however I’d say anyone (even more demanding users) could find a nice match for themselves.

Essence Urbaniced Blush (3,29€) is a mix of hot pink and light natural pink tones. Its splashing design and universally flattering shade have grown on me. Talking about cheeks, my favourite out of the bunch is definitely the Urbaniced highlighter (3,59€). With its buttery smooth texture and high pigmentation it’s a must for every highlight lover, especially those with fair skin (it’s a pinky-toned one, which is a perfect choice for pale girls). Urbaniced eyeshadows (2,19€) have a nice pigementation as well, their staying power is rather amazing and they are definitely a perfect pick for a smokey eye makeup. Since no smokey eyes makeup is complete without an eyeliner wig, an Urbaniced Graffiti Ink liner (2,99€) does it job well and finishes the Essence’s street style inspired look.

Miu Miu Eau de Parfum is the first fragrance venture for the Miu Miu brand, Prada’s baby sister. The quirky, retro bottle with a 70’s vibe to it, is unique, but rather expected. The flacon is inspired by the special material characteristic of the brand’s iconic matelassé leather bags. The colour combination of a bright blue bottle, a large red lid and golden accents gives a sophisticated and vintage touch. In the fabulous bottle, the scent itself is crisp, definitely floral with a hint of green notes and a darker, richer, warmer woodiness. It’s daily wearable (and long lasting), while extraordinary and unique. Definitely my cup of tea, an Autumn fragrance worth checking out!

top note: lily of the valley
middle notes: jasmine, rose, green notes
base note: akigalawood

This may come as a surprise for some of you, but I often prefer the “so-called-almost-bare/invisible” nails over the trendy coloured nail varnish. The colours I aim for are pastels, milky-transparent shades. The latest Deborah Milano Time & Care collection has won my heart with two amazing nail care products that are especially formulated to deal with problem nails from the comfort of your home, providing a groomed, lightly coloured effect. They can be used individually or as a base for other nail varnishes.

THE SMOOTHING BASE
Deborah Milano Anti Age Levigante Smoothing Base (Ridge Filler) coat evens out the surface of nails, leaving stronger shinier, healthier and younger looking nails. It’s available in two shades: beige and rose, my pick was the latter. It looks like I am wearing nothing on my nails but also looks polished, clean and tidy. I really believe it smooths and restores my nails to their former glory, while staying on my nails as an individual product for 5 (or even more) days unchipped!

WHITENING YOUR NAILS
Deborah Milano Whitening Anti-Giallo Anti-Yellowing Base is the product to go for if yellow stains are your problem. It is enriched with lemon extracts and vitamin E, that also help you get stronger, well moisturized nails. Even though I haven’t got any yellow-colouration, I love wearing this product on its own, it gives a milky-white effect, that looks natural and flattering. The staying power is superb, as with the previous one.

Fringe is back in a big way, we saw it all over the spring 2015 runways (it later became a huge trend on the streets), now it looks like it’s here to stay, at least for this Autumn-Winter 2015. Though it might seem like a tricky trend to pull off, it’s actually quite easy to incorporate into your style and give it a bohemian twist. You can either mix it with some casual monochrome clothing or even mix two fringe pieces together – like I did. My outfit is built around the casual black fringe dress, I paired with a fringe cardigan in cognac suede-like material. Black ankle boots are a complete “must have” in every girl’s closet, they are easy to combine and are a comfortable heel choice. This time I decided to switch my usual choice – a handbag with a black backpack (with gold detailing). I left my nails to be done by my dear friend, blogger Gabi (check out her Autumn 2015 nail polish recommendations HERE), while Nika Veger a creative makeup artist did my makeup (she’s also a blogger, check out here blog HERE). Overall, I am quite happy with the final result of our collaboration. What are your thoughts?
