There’s nothing I love more than a nude coloured makeup collection. If it’s from the drugstore, even better. Rimmel Nude Collection by Kate won my heart in a second, I admired it on other beauty blogs around the globe and my mother-in-law-to-be (without knowing I was secretly cawing it) bought some pieces for me a while ago, when she was on a business trip in London. She thought the shades would suit me nicely and she was right (btw, isn’t she the best?). Back to the products – I adore their lipsticks overall. Lasting Finish Matte by Kate in 107 is probably my absolute favourite lipstick of all times, while Lasting Finish by Kate in 03 shortly follows.

Five lipstick and five nail polishes in the Rimmel Nude Collection by Kate are designed to suit everyone, from cool to warm tones, from tanned to pale gals. Salon Pro with Lycra Nail Polishes have a spot on formula, they are easy to apply and last for a few days without chipping (3 days at least!). 126 Bare Yourself is a peachy nude I grab when I want some pale-nude coverage, while the 128 Mistify Me is a perfect creamy taupe. Lasting Finish Nude Collection Lipsticks by Kate truly are my cup of tea. Out of five, my mother-in-law bought me three – 40 Pale Nude is a beige with a yellow undertone (best for neutral skin undertones), you couldn’t go “nude-r” then that. 43 Tan Nude is a bit more on an orangey-tanned side (best for warm skin undertones), while the 45 Rose Nude is my absolute favourite out of the bunch (best for cool skin undertones). They are not completely matte and not the most long-lasting ones I tries, but they feel extremely comfortable and creamy on the lips (and smell amazing). The thing that I hate about a lot of nude lipstick is the fact that they can go in the lines quite quickly and therefore don’t look so nice on the lips – well, these ones don’t, my lips look amazing wearing them (that sounds a bit complacently, but hey, it’s true).

Imagine a collaboration between L’Occitane and the famous pastry chef, Pierre Hermé. All sweet, unpredictable and gourmet. Beautifully crafted scents from the latest L’Occitane Pierre Hermé limited edition are complex, savoury, sweet, bitter and citrusy at the same time. All three lines from the collection are inspired by the brand founder Olivier Baussan and Pierre Hermé’s common love of the Island of Beauty, Mediterranean Corsica. Jasmin-Immortelle-Neroli is the most feminine one, it’s floral with top notes of petit grain, pink peppercorn and lemon leading to a heart of jasmine, immortelle flower, neroli and orange blossom, while the base features white woods, amber and musk. Pamplemousse-Rhubarb is an unisex fruity scent that opens on top notes of grapefruit, rhubarb, lemon and cypress. The heart consists of clove, nutmeg and lavandin, while the base rests on cedarwood and vetiver. Last but not least, Miel-Mandarine is an hesperidic-sweet gourmet combination that will be a perfect choice for all the lovers of (more) traditional winter scents. Tantalizing my nose and teasing my palate L’Occitane rests on the top of my beauty list with this latest collection.

It’s no secret that I love oils as skincare products. I’ve been using them non stop for the past few years – on my face, body and hair. They represent an essential step in my beauty routine, they give my skin that extra boost of radiance, while also working miracles on my hair. Therefore I’ve been constantly on the hunt for some new gems and I’ve found one I really wanted to share with you – Olival Magical Golden Dry Oil.

The magical combination of oils
This multipurpose magic dry oil with golden particles is a mixture of five natural oils and is enriched with vitamin E, which is an antioxidant that protect and repairs your skin. It neutralizes the oxidant effect of free radicals, that damage collagen and cause skin dryness and signs of aging. All the ingredients are carefully selected, the blend of hazelnut, macadamia, jojoba, rose and almond oil make my skin (and hair) soft and supple. It could probably work well for all skin types, because it’s non-comedogenic and doesn’t leave a greasy finish. The scent of the product is pure heaven; it’s warm, summery, nutty and floral at the same time. Considering the relatively low price compared to other similar products this one is a total bargain and a perfect gift for everyone (even yourself). And did I mention there are three ways to use it?

#1 use on body
Not only it optimizes your tan and makes it more glowy, it also smells amazing. I would say it’s the closes thing you’ll get to the Victoria’s Secret angels glow in one product (I know, one product doesn’t get you runway-ready, but at least it does the job of emphasizing my completion). It also optimizes the properties of a body cream or lotion – one spritz in the palm of the hand blended with some (preferably unscented) body moisturizer will nourish and even out your skin. It gives my complexion a shade darker colour and emphasizes my tan. I love using it on my legs (although they haven’t seen the sun since Bali), décolleté (works as a perfume as well) and arms (it’s perfect for dry elbows).

#2 use on face
Blending a drop of Olival Magical Golden Dry Oil in the palm of my hand and applying it where I usually apply bronzer (like drawing an imaginary number 3 on my face) and sometimes even on my lips. It’s a perfect beauty enhancer, making my skin dewy with discreet shimmer (not greasy or over glittery at all!), while nourishing it in the meantime.

#3 use on hair
Last but not least – using it as a hair treatment oil. I’ve been applying it onto the ends of my hair to make them look more soft, groomed and healthier. One pump in the palm of my hand is completely enough and due to it’s texture is relatively easy to apply evenly. It doesn’t make my hair look greasy, it gives it a nice silky texture while leaving a touch of shimmer and heavenly scent.

It’s been a few weeks since I came back from Bali, and I thought, why not do an additional travel themed
blog post. As you may know, I had the most amazing time there and I am thrilled to see that you loved the blog posts as much as I did. Today I wanted to share with you some of the products I couldn’t imagine my trip without. Without further ado, here is my list of Bali essentials:

I was in need of a new suitcase and a few weeks before heading to Bali I fell in love with the SuiSuit Houndstooth spinners. I knew that the smaller one from the set would be a perfect choice as a carry-on, while the biggest one as the check-in bag. The traditional houndstooth pattern with 1800s vibe is noticeable and chic, while the suitcases are extremely light, but solid. I would highly suggest you give their page a look, especially if you are looking for a spinner that will make you stand out from the crowd.

The beauty item you shouldn’t leave behind, if you are visiting areas near the equator is the SPF. We were fully equipped with three bottles of sunscreen – Garnier Ambre Solaire Dry Mist (which was a gift from a beauty blogger Gabi), Nivea Sun Protect&Bronze oil and Vichy Ideal Soleil Bronze spray. We managed to come back without any severe sunburn, however I must warn you – double apply it if surfing or driving a scooter.

My fellow Birkenstocks and leather Teva Originals were my go-to choice when it came to footwear. They are extremely comfortable and therefore a perfect pick for exploring new places. I took some nice and trendy metallic sandals with me as well, but in the end, I usually went for the “travel basics”. I could easily have left them at home and save some space for additional souvenirs.

Slovenian swimwear brand Lisca gave me a chance to wear one of their pieces for the upcoming season 2016. I was excited and honoured to be able to test these light green beauties out, which turned out to be one of the most comfortable and soft swimwear I took with me. They were a great addition to the other ones (Women’s Secret and Triangl) I have already wore throughout this summer.

Sony HX90 was the best new gadget I took with me. It is a smaller and lighter alternative to my Sony α55. We usually used both, however the HX90 turned out to be perfect for less accessible locations as well as the beach, cycling and scooter adventures. We already invited some of our friends and family to the Bali travelogue night and shared some of our best shoots with them. And I shouldn’t forget to mention – the HX90 flip screen was perfect for taking selfies!

We decided to get a pre-paid SIM card there, mainly to have access to the internet everywhere (it was way slower than the one we have at home, but still worked fast enough to check e-mails, navigate and occasionally share some photos on the social media). I took with me the famous Huawei P8, which served us great. I took some amazing shoots with its camera!
