blogger routine

I don’t know about you, my dear readers, but I feel I’m fully stocked for autumn (and probably even winter)! With simple, warm and cosy knits of course, which are definitely every year’s necessity in my wardrobe. This year is no different. In this transitional season (until it gets really chilly), I found a new way of wearing them – by layering them up! As a base, I chose a grey knit sweater, while adding a beige knitted cardigan as my outerwear. When I am running around, from meetings to meetings, writing blog posts in cafes, replying to emails and updating social media on my well loved (and heavily used) Huawei P10, I opt for a look that is relaxed and cosy. Warm coffee and warm knits, that’s the way to start a day!

It’s back to office style today with this simple, but elegant Dorothy Perkins look. As Autumn is already here, make sure you take full advantage of the days when you can still show some skin. Culottes are a perfect piece you can wear in order to still look professional, while also adding a bit more of trendy touch to your styling. In colder months simply add some black opaque tights, pair them with black pumps and a unique blouse, and you’re ready to rock the world!

fields of gold

Many years have passed since those summer days
Among the fields of barley
See the children run as the sun goes down
Among the fields of gold
You’ll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold
– Sting, Fields Of Gold

“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald

Autumn always brings changes, new beginnings. In some way it symbolizes the fresh new start even more than January 1st. For me this autumn is all about new adventures! I’ve been working on something extremely exciting and completely new for me, I cannot wait to tell and show you more! For now, I need to keep it a secret, but I can tell you, it is something you wouldn’t expect from me. In some way, even I didn’t expected it myself. This autumn will be for me all about taking another step out of my comfort zone, exploring new fields, raising the limits.

The smell of pumpkin soup (especially the one that my mother-in-law makes!), roasted chestnuts from the streets of Ljubljana, the nostalgic scent of freshly sharpened pencils… Autumn, I am ready for new adventures! Are you ready as well?
