Blaming Disney for your high expectations of men is one way to go. Media (TV, magazines etc.) has been filling our heads with images of perfect men all looking as the hottest actors out there doing all sorts of romantic and heroic “stunts”. No wonder millions of women are sitting at home alone or complaining no one fits the image of the ideal man. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with having high expectations of men, the opposite – you shouldn’t be satisfied with someone who doesn’t fit your standards! However, you should not forget to step outside the box, set your own (and not fairytale) standards and let him have his own personality as well. The ideal man is a myth and a reality at the same time.

maxi skirt fashion blogger pink magenta

I’ve been looking for a perfect maxi skirt all Summer long, haven’t found it, so I decided to pick up some fabric (found this gorgeous magenta) and head up to my seamstress with an idea in my mind. I wanted it to be long enough to wear with flats, however this time I combined it with my Jeffrey Campbell silver holographic pumps. I normally don’t go for picking accessories in matching colour as my other outfit pieces, but I just couldn’t resist. This amazing Perla necklace is an ultimate summer jewelry piece made with such precision and detail, plus it’s unbelievably light so it can be worn all day long. To add some dimension, I painted my nails in tiffany-blue colour and added one of my favourite black cat eye shades.

I think I’d put shower gels and creams under beauty things my boyfriend uses in much larger quantities than me. Between you and me, he is the one using them in bizarre amounts (even his family agrees). I mean, he’s way taller then me, plus he’s a track&field athlete, often practicing twice a day, but that still doesn’t justify using them in liters, right? So, we normally buy them in larger bottles and we are currently loving the ones from Oriflame (400ml / 6,49€). Oriflame Nature Secrets shower cream for sensitive skin jojoba & mango with soothing jojoba oil and moisturizing mango butter is the one I usually use in the evenings. This delightful creamy soap-free cream smells amazing! Oriflame Nature Secrets shower gel with moistuzing aloe vera & watermelon is a bottled wake up morning call. Nothing beats a fresh summer-recalling morning shower. A perfect start of the day!

heaven by deborah mitchell sos oil

After reviewing Bee Venom Mask, I got the chance to test another best-seller by Heaven by Deborah Mitchell organic skincare – an SOS Oil used by many celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Michelle Pfeiffer and so on. If that doesn’t convince you to scroll down and read my review, the fact that it is being hailed as the equivalent to Liquid Gold might.

What they say at Heaven by Deborah Mitchell?
SOS Oil, a wondrous new anti aging product contains ingredients proven to repair and rebuild skin cells. A few drops can solve all your needs, this product creates a whole new experience to your skincare regime, as it feeds and nourishes the skin, nails will become stronger, dry hair will appear silky, also helps repair dry and cracked areas, reduces skin blemishes and removes blackheads, contains Organic Calendula Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin B and Beta Carotene this is being hailed as the equivalent to Liquid Gold. SOS Oil will answer the cries of help from your skin whatever its condition. It can be used as a luxurious serum directly onto skin’s surface or add a tiny amount of SOS Oil to your cleanser or moisturiser for softer skin and a more even skin tone.

What do I say?
I am using it only on my face, it just seems wrong to be using it on my nails or hair since it’s not the cheapest one out there. I’ve been adding 2 drops of it into my moisturizer in the evening, lately I’ve been using it only a few times per week since my skin got so much better. No dry patches, just nice hydrated skin! I haven’t notice any difference regarding my blackheads, since I don’t have that many and they’re not that noticeable. I cannot tell you anything about its effect on blemishes, since non have visited me yet (maybe this oil contributed as well). I’ve had a nasty dermatitis on my left eye a while ago and this oil was the oil product I wasn’t afraid to use (besides prescribed medicine). I think it helped a lot, made my skin soft and nourished. It might sound a bit unreal to you, since I’ve only had good things to say about Heaven by Deborah Mitchell brand – I promise you, my reviews are 100% honest. Love this oil’s light fragrance-free texture, which is suitable for those with the most sensitive skin as well. The down side is definitely it’s price – it’s quite expensive, but a 30ml will last pretty long. If you’ve got any extra money in your wallet, you should consider buying a Bee Sting Facial Home Kit (8 products included, a Bee Venom Mask I wrote about in this post as well). If I am totally honest, I am a bit disappointed about the packaging of this SOS Oil. I mean, it’s nice and practical (with a pipette), but I feel like something is missing. On the other hand, there’s nothing missing about the content, this product truly is Liquid Gold. I am storing it in a darker place out of the sun, hoping it will last till winter.

Price: 74€ (30ml)
